Vista College's comprehensive Construction Technology Diploma program employs a combination of classroom and hands-on training to help you develop essential construction industry skills. By the time you complete your training, you will be thoroughly prepared to take on the challenges of positions such as framers, drywall installers, construction laborers, or tile workers.
In less than one year, Vista College's program will take you through classroom instruction and real-world practical experience that employers are looking for. You will learn about how to work with dental equipment such as x-ray machines, how to prevent cross-contamination, understand the scope of oral hygiene and common oral problems like gum disease, and how to optimize the patient experience.
Electrical mechanics need the proper educational foundation to make a favorable impression on potential employers, which Vista College's program will provide. Vista College's in-depth program covers all of the critical aspects of the apprentice electrician position, including electrical service and commercial and residential wiring applications. The program instructors are NCCER trained and certified. Vista College's program helps prepare you to start a new career in less than a year.*
The evidence-based Medical Administrative Assistant diploma program focuses on front-office duties and administrative functions within healthcare organizations. Students in the Medical Administrative Assistant program learn how to aid healthcare professionals by performing a variety of patient and administrative functions. Throughout the program, professionalism, patient relations, critical thinking, adherence to the ethical and legal requirements of a medical practice and proper communication skills are emphasized. Graduates are prepared to function competently in a variety of entry-level positions in healthcare settings such as a medical secretary, receptionist, customer service representative, front office staff, office assistant. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a diploma.
Vista College’s Medical Insurance Billing and Coding Diploma Program is designed to give you the knowledge and resources you need to start a career as an MIBC Specialist. Courses focus on topics such as medical terminology, medical office procedures, diagnostics coding, pharmacology, computerized medical billing, anatomy, physiology, health information management, and more.
With Vista College's diploma program, you’ll learn valuable skills from leaders in the HVAC industry. Our real-world, hands-on training is designed to provide you with skills and knowledge that will benefit you throughout your career. The program instructors are NCCER-certified. After you gain a few years of field experience as an HVAC technician, you may be able to pursue work in a supervisory position or even open your own HVAC company.
Receive in-depth training that may enable you to find a satisfying career as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Vista College's program includes 10 courses that cover key areas such as industrial plant and production machinery installation, repair, and fabrication. You can earn your Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Diploma in as little as 50 weeks with an average of just 18 hours of training per week.
Vista College's Information Technology Diploma program will prepare you to look for an entry-level job in the IT field. After you graduate, you can seek employment in any organization that uses technology in their operations. Some of the job titles IT professionals can have include engineer, programmer, website producer, webmaster, and network administrator.
The Medical Assisting Diploma program offers a mixture of hands-on, classroom, and laboratory training. The program focuses topics such as medical terminology, administrative procedures, pharmacology, laboratory skills, human anatomy and physiology, medical billing and coding, and much more.
The Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program is designed to provide training as an entry-level pharmacy technician within a variety of contemporary pharmacy settings. Students will learn the skills needed to assist licensed pharmacists from topics such as: patient assistance, pharmacy practice settings, processing and handling medications and medication orders, sterile and non-sterile compounding, procurement, billing, reimbursement, inventory management, patient and medication safety, technology and informatics, regulatory issues, and quality assurance. Graduates of the program will be qualified to pursue State Board of Pharmacy licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, and National Pharmacy Technician Board Examination as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Graduates of program can obtain employment in retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, hospitals, consulting pharmacies, infusion therapy and compounding pharmacies, mail-order pharmacies, nuclear pharmacies, pharmaceutical wholesalers, clinics, home care settings, and various other settings.
From taking vital signs to providing basic bedside care to assisting physicians and registered nurses, practical nurses play a vital and integral role in the healthcare system. Our LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) equips you with the skills you need to provide quality nursing care. Upon completion of the program, our graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
Using a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, the Vista College AAS in Construction Management Degree program will thoroughly prepare you for an entry-level position such as a framer, drywall installer, construction laborer, or tile worker. Other employment opportunities include construction management and building inspection.
The Criminal Justice Associate Degree program at Vista College provides the solid educational foundation you need to get started as a Criminal Justice professional. Through your studies, you will also gain valuable insight into the criminal mind as you discover the many facets of criminal behavior. You can earn your AAS Degree in Criminal Justice online or by attending classes during the day or evening at one of our campuses in Texas.
To help students work towards a career in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Vista College has devised a robust curriculum featuring the latest foundational coursework. Vista College instructors are passionate about helping students reach their goals. MIBC technicians serve as direct liaisons between healthcare and insurance providers and are responsible for answering insurance reimbursement questions, and analyze, organize, and evaluate health insurance claims forms by coding diseases, therapies, procedures, and more.
Vista College's AAS Degree program in Information Technology will prepare you to seek out opportunities to step into any of the following roles: Network Administrator, Network Systems Administrator, Database Administrator, Network Administration Lead, Network Software Administrator, IT Tech Support.
